Now and Then (Freewrite)
Pumped.
The tide is pushing. The swell's getting bigger and faster with every passing minute. There is raw terror, excitement and deep careful consideration, vying for the attention of my attention.
Looking at the sea. It's not angry. But there is power and urgency.
This is what I want to wish I could live for. If it was this, and nothing else. The purity of a full life. Full of emotion and full of death... or at least the potential for it. Present but not so close. Careful that it is not so close that we make contact. And this is the fullness; so that later I may be at ease, now I am Pumped.

It would be something to live like the ocean - but in a way, we do. Glad that you are pumped :)
This line is having it.
There is no intention to find. The sea has waves and crests, but the ocean doesn't care.
I can't deliberately be spontaneous and pump myself full of life, because that's where all spontaneity disappears when I try. But I create the framework for it and free myself from clinging intentions when they occur.
Have you ever thought while dancing or drumming that you want to get it done as quickly as possible? That would be absurd, wouldn't it? When dancing and making music we want to give ourselves to the piece and not be through with it as if it were the goal. If we did it, we would not be well nourished (full) but empty afterwards. Whenever I was happy and content by mistake, it was a good moment. There was the power and the urge.
