Freewrite Prompt: OVERSLEPT

Mia woke up again and she looked at the two ladies sleeping (and even snoring) beside her. This was her third time waking up, because she had been having butterflies in her stomach.

She checked on the time, it's only 4am. She was supposed to be awake at 7. Emma and Sophia had promised and accompanied her in talking till she finally heard so response from them but some snoring. Mia smiled at her two best friends who seemed so tired but tried their best.

Mia walked to the balcony of the room. She looked out the window and started thinking how surreal all this had been: meeting her biological parents in a totally different country, met Kyle and fell in love with him, found out that he has royal blood related to the Bhutan royal family, went through some commotions of them accepting her as a commoner, her best friends flew across half of the globe for her.

Mia took a deep breath and smiled again. If only she could have enough sleep... She was just thinking of this and she yawned.

"Okay, I shall move back into bed," thought Mia.

She slept and dreamt the weirdest dream of her slaying dragons with Kyle. They fought bravely alongside each other and they were made king and queen by the people. That's just so weird.

"Wake up Mia. You overslept. We overslept too. It's already 830am and your wedding is at 9!!!" Emma and Sophia were trying their best to wake Mia up as they panicked to get ready by themselves.

Mia was still engrossed in her dream. She couldn't hear them after waking up too many times in the night. The make up artists had been calling them, knocking on the door, ringing the doorbell, yet Mia was still sleeping.

While in her dream, when she saw herself was getting married to Kyle, suddenly she got up and remembered, "I'M GETTING MARRIED! Oh no!"

Now here we have, an overslept bride and it is actually quite a royal wedding.
