They think she has it all because anytime she passes she smiles.
They think she is happy because anytime she talks she smiles
They think she is independent because she doesn't ask for help.
They think she is happy because she gives and never ask in return
They think she is happy because she never says a bad word to them
They think she is happy because she is always looking poised and classy
They think she is happy because she is beautiful and speaks eloquently.

What they never knew was that she is in pain a whole lot of time
What they never knew was that behind her smile is an ocean of sadness
What they never knew was that behind the poise is a scared lady
What they never knew was that she gives because because she has known hunger

They never took the time to befriend her
They never took their time to ask if she was okay
They never took time out to be with her
They never took their time to know the lady
They only want to admire from afar

All they ever know was that she was always happy
All they thought was she has it all
All they felt was she needs no one
All they did was to ask for more.
