There was a mini-arc of The Magicians in which a man who is the son of a god, but doesn't know it, has achieved great success. It crushes him to learn that his fortune is not built from the goodness of deeds and the greatness of his intellect, but rather from the inheritance of his godhood. I think (hope) he learns a similar lesson, but we stopped watching that show.
That must be frustrating when you think you got it all together, working hard and such - then it turns out you are a god. Hate when that happens Lol

Hanging in there. We're up in Everett at the moment helping @stinawog's mom as best we can. We'll be up here again for most of July, so we won't be coming down to San Diego for Comic-Con this year.

Doing good. Leaving on the 20th to see Mike and then, we are going to travel together. too bad you are not coming for Comic Con - but maybe we find a different excuse.
