5 Minute Freewrite Prompt : Time

Dave buckle up tightly, not knowing if this was going to be bumpy ride. He never knew as everyday is always different. No each day is the same; not since he joined this new publishing house. Maybe it was for the wrong reasons but he needed a change badly. Away from the same old routine lifestyle and have faith that this whole new life would bring new adventures and more spice in his life.

The ride down Maines Street was calm, which was strange since it was a Monday morning. Traffic should have build up by now since it's already 7AM. Sitting at the back seat in the taxi, he looked outside the window. A little girl stood next to her mom, holding her hands while waiting for the school bus to come. This was a beautiful sight to enjoy. Something that he missed all his life.

He had always wanted a family of his own. But, time never permitted him. He knew that was an excuse but in some ways, it was very true. He was so absorbed in his work as Chief Editor in Flamogen Publishing House that he never made any effort to meet any nice girls.If one were to walk in front of him, he would just simply ignore them. Many thought that he was gay, Boy! How wrong were them.

Arriving at the front entrance of Falcone Building, he slowly got off the taxi & looked up above the high building. Praying that this new place would give him the much deserved downtime to find a nice lady who would build a family.
