Very touching, even in spite of the melancholic overtones. I like how the whole thing seems to revolve around names - the name her customer gives her, what she imagines it might mean, and how her real name comes across false considering her line of work...

Really makes her seem like this drifting persona, meaning different things to different people (which again matches her profession). And there's this sense that she is looking for the real one buried underneath the rest. Wonderfully written, @honeydue!
