Happy Mother's Day! We don't celebrate it at this time, so I had no idea why we got this prompt. I hope I managed to capture the idea of motherhood, though! The smell of milk.
It was because yesterday was "Mother's Day" (at least in US. Idk if other places celebrate, too...) I had forgotton as well it was yesterday, but remebered an gave my mother the obligatory call ;). I'm also hesitatnt to read your story based purely on name: "The Smell of Milk??" Yuck...!! Okay, here I go lol
