What is this 200 number?

The thing that really is worth a party is the 60th birthday party of my mother in law.

She lives in the Philippines. My wife and her sisters live in the United Arab Emirates near Dubai. She saw the celebrations on social media which led to tears of happiness and sadness.

We did celebrate ourselves. On a very hot evening, we took food to the park. We passed by Dunkin' Donuts. 6 was never going to be enough. So we had to get 12.

There was an offer. Buy 12 and get 12 free. When I saw it I looked a bit stunned. I looked at the cashier. “Are you serious?”

Yes, they were serious. A Monday only offer. 24 donuts in 2 boxes. Enough to feed the family and more.

A lovely evening. You may notice that my wife is expecting. Due November.

That must be worth a party.

Also, day 200 of the freewrite thingy (I'm lost for words now).

So all is good. Did I say the party was over? Only for now. There will be more joys to celebrate.

Here's to new a new baby, more birthdays and thousands more stories.
