Hello, my dear fellow @steemians! How are you today? This my entry in today's prompt of @mariannewest in #freewrite.

In every advancement, there is always a #basic. My first programming language is BASIC (Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code) way back 1996 during my first year college. I love that subject because it opens up a lot of knowledge in learning other programming languages.

My first #basic programming teacher motivated me the best knowledge in me. Like in solving the problem there is a need to identify the following as the basic ingredients.

  • Input. The necessary data and information for data entry.

  • Process. It perform the logical and mathematical operation of data.

  • Output. The useful result and information.

The learning of the different languages such as COBOL, Pascal, C, C++, C#, Java, PHP, Android, Node JS, and many others is to know the syntax and semantics of the language in order to know how to create programs.

It is really hard to start from scratch if you don't know the basic concepts. It is just like you cannot teach what you don't know.

Thank you very much to my favorite teacher in programming when I was a student because I was able to know other languages.

I am supporting @surpassinggoogle and to vote steemgigs as a witness, simply visit https://steemit.com/~witnesses and type in "steemgigs" into the first search box for witnesses.

If you want sir Terry to make witness voting decisions on your behalf, simply visit https://steemit.com/~witnesses and type in "surpassinggoogle" in the second box for the proxy.

Thanks @edgargonzalez for the upvote and resteem... God bless us always

Imagine, BASIC seemed so complex and now that I'm looking at PHP et. al., BASIC seems so nice.

Anyway, I'm bringing today's prompt and it reminds me of the movie Multiplicity where a guy makes a copy of himself to keep up. Then the copies start making copies: "He's special, all right. - We made a copy from Two. Sometimes a copy from a copy is not quite as sharp as the original."

Great movie! Anyway, today's prompt has to do with the word copy: https://steemit.com/freewrite/@mariannewest/day-266-5-minute-freewrite-thursday-prompt-copy. Join us at the @FreeWriteHouse.

Especially with programming - if you don't know the basics - nothing good will happen!!

Correct! Thanks @mariannewest for all the support.
