Hungry

Hungry, hungry hippo, I yam, thought the hippo. The hippo in the pond that used to be a lake. The hippo that used to have tiger and giraffe and elephant friends, that now had barb wire fences all around the pond that used to be a lake, with lookey-loos on the other side of the fence. The hippo was on a diet, because the hippo was fat. The hippo was fat because the hippo was kept behind barb wire fence and couldn't roam around and try to find its tiger and giraffe and elephant friends. The hippo suspected that the other animals were also in ponds that used to be lakes, surrounded by barb wire fences, with lookey-loos looking at them. The hippo was very hungry. The hippo waddled up to the fence and bared its teeth at the people, because it wanted to eat them. They all took pictures. The hippo tried to bite the fence, the non barb wire part, but it couldn't get a hold to bite. The hippo started eating the mud, but the feeders didn't like that and put a muzzle on the hippo. The lookey-loos didn't like that, and started digging a hole under the fence. It took a while, but eventually the hole was big enough for the hippo to step into and go under the fence, but then the hippo got stuck in the hole on the other side of the fence.
