Santa Claus is not Dutch so no. 3 weeks before December 5th Aint Nicolaas arrives in the Netherlands and Belgium but in the past years adults are fighting and protesting against it because they say its racism etc etc. Quess the Saint never visited them.
Some folks made a big deal and try to change the traditions that have gone on for years. Pretty soon we wouldn’t know what to call anything without offending someone. 😞
That is so true, but I don't care any longer. The word Christmas is forbidden since 2 years, you will not find the word on things you buy and in shops any more. I refuse to buy a "winterstol' and still say the word out loud. Nobody cares about what insults me and it is what it is.
Not even a Santa Claus parade? July 1 (Canada Day) there’s quite a few parades going on in this country.
