THE CUNNY TORTOISE: Final part

Previously on THE CUNNY TORTOISE....... “No but you know I can’t sell it, it was given to my father by my grandfather and my father also gave it to me” said the pig “Don’t worry I can handle it” said the tortoise.

“How?” asked the pig
“I am going to deceive the seller, when I have bought the flower I will attach a rope to the ring and then I will give him the gold and I will then go, after some time I will drag the rope then the gold will come back to me” said the tortoise
The pig was not quite satisfied with the trick but he gave him the golden nose ring since he was assured the tortoise won’t fail him.
And when the tortoise left the pig’s house, he laughed at the stupidity of the pig. Then he went ahead and sold the gold and used the money to buy foodstuffs for his family, and then he told his wife about it and she was extremely happy. Then he told his wife that that night she should go to the pig’s house to look for him the tortoise.
She did as her husband told her and when she got there she started shouting that the pig should provide her husband, and then the pig started calming her down, then he told her how it all started, after the much talk she went back home.
She told him everything thing that happened and then the tortoise laughed.
Then the next day, the pig came to the tortoise house, he didn’t knew the tortoise had saw him from afar so the tortoise hid inside his house, when the pig came to the tortoise house he knocked at the door, then his wife came out telling him that her husband hasn’t come back, then the pig became worried and then went back home.
The next day the tortoise acted as if he was robbed and beaten with bruises all over his body, he then went to the pig’s house and lied to him that he was robbed on his way to the market and they almost took the gold but instead of him to give it to them he threw it away into the mud. The pig then shouted because he couldn’t ask him to pay because he sent him to the market.
Then the pig and his family went out into the mud to search for the ring.
That is why till today, you always see pigs in the mud because they are searching for the ring.
