Friday's RocksteemCreated with Sketch.

Here is my #fridaysrock post. I started the tag so that I would remember to post pictures of some of my favorite rocks. Please feel free to use this tag on any day of the week. It is not limited to Fridays.

Sometimes I collect rocks because I know what they are and I think they are beautiful. Other times I pick them up because I think they are very interesting. This is one of those interesting ones. I really am not sure what it is...so I would love help with that if anyone knows.

There are just so many interesting things going on with this one. Many pits...lots of different colors.

It looked like a shiny frog at first! Thanks for sharing!

I do kind of see that now that you say it. :)

Yeow what a really awesome rock @nat-expressions!!
So many cool looking areas on it, looks like its been
worn by the waves, was this one found by the lakes?

Very nice rock!! Happy #fridaysrock! :-)

Thank you! Yes...I think I found this one on Lake Superior. That is a good thought...maybe it was much larger and then it was worn away by the water which exposed all of the cool things inside.

That IS interesting! What a cool rock. I have never seen anything like it.

Thank you and thank you for stopping by! I am hoping that someone knows what it is.

Indeed it is interesting piece.

Thank you very much!

My first thought was white and dark chocolate!

I find two types of these all the time. One like it, with the good stuff inside, or another with what looks like compacted sand!

I don't think I have ever found any that look like they have compacted sand in them. I will keep looking! :)

Sorry I meant clay! So instead of a gem, I get nothing good! Don't seek these duds! :P

Good to know! I will keep looking for other kinds of rocks then. :)
