Cempedak

It looked like Jackfruit but they smell different and taste different than jackfruit. I like to eat fried Cempedak that has been deep fried coated with flour. Cempedak is also nice to be used in pengat (Pengat is like sweet dessert that look like Bubur Chacha. I don't know how to translate in English :D)

And of course the King of all Malaysian Fruits...

Durian

Malaysian love durians, some people hate the smell and there are many rules implemented in Malaysia like no durian in lift, buildings, restaurants etc etc. But we never hate it, we will go around looking for durian buffet. You know we in Malaysia so crazy with Durians that we have a special buffet just to eat Durians of its many varieties such as Musang King, Kampung, Kucing Tidur, etc etc.

Most of the fruits are new to me. The Dragon fruit is imported in our country did not even taste it because of its price here.
Some are common with our Bangladeshi fruit like mangoes, papaya, start fruit, jambu air, watermalon.

Hi @aaarif, that's nice to know that we have similar fruits. Buah Naga or Dragonfruits tasted like kiwi fruit, I think so... :)

Most of those Fruits are very familiar by what we have here in Indonesia.
Rambutan and Durian are our special fruits which we might be only find in our country. Even some of them hate Durians but I love it so much. Nice post @ainie.kashif!
Cheers from Aceh.❤️

Hi @fitrianizar, yes our fruits are similar right. Durian is so expensive in Malaysia, 1 fruit can cost around RM30 to RM100 so that's why we look around for Durian Buffet, like if we pay around RM30 and can eat many rather than just paying RM30 for one, thanks and Have a pleasant day!

Es gibt Früchte, die ich noch nie zuvor gesehen habe
Ich lebe in Palästina
Es gibt wirklich keine Frucht in meinem Haus

Hi @roselover, here's what I found when I have translated your message above.

There are fruits that I've never seen before
I live in Palestine
There is really no fruit in my house

I am happy to know you, I think you are a Germany living in Palestine, correct me if I am wrong. I will visit your blog to find out more. Stay blessed and Steem On!

mm this is really amazing, love this and i would like to taste them.

Oh yes you can and they taste very nice. Happy Saturday!

Different name but same fruits... Durians is a Malaysian fruit and you guys! love it too much. So, slowly slowly I’m learning about Malaysian culture, food and living. Thanks Ainie, very informative post. Stay blessed!

Hi Shanu, yes we are learning about various cultures and it's such a great knowledge as we slowly learn about each other. Take care and Stay Blessed too!

Let's kick start the "fruit party" now sis :D

PS: Hmm, actually I didn't know what's the different of Tembikai susu and tembikai wangi, I thought both of them are the same XD

Lol @wilhb81, Tembikai Susu has a soft texture and mildly sweet. For Tembikai Wangi, it tasted sweeter with a more crunchy texture and that's why I like Tembikai Wangi more plus it's more wangi :D

Woah, that's a nice description indeed. Thanks for it sis :D

Hi @wilhb81, please come over #HHG10 has started, see you there! :D

Very nice to eat these fruits and I am very happy to eat a lot for the first time, but I'm sorry it's inside the photo so I can not eat.

Hi @asaad, good to know, thanks and Happy Saturday!

welcome @anie.kashif and good morning Saturday..

Fantastic to know other names that are given to fruits. In particular my favorite fruit is the cambur and from what I understand I could say Pisang in Malaysia.

Hi @rosargelisperez, glad to know. Wishing you a pleasant weekend :)
