FruitsAndVeggiesMonday | Antioxidant Breakfast Smoothie !

I'm back with my weekly post sharing some of the Plant-Based food I'm eating during my 100 Day Challenge. This week it's my absolute powerhouse breakfast smoothie which is extremely tasty and can be made in 3 minutes. This is my entry for the #fruitsandveggiesmonday competition which is hosted by @lenasveganliving and sponsored by @progressivechef & @englishtchrivy.

Antioxidant Breakfast Smoothie !

Main ingredients: Mango, Blueberries, Raspberries, Pinnapple core, Spinach (All Frozen) | Ripe Banana | Oat Milk | Flax Seeds | Ceylon Cinnamon | Amla Powder | Berry Powder | Cloves Powder | Ginger Powder (All the powders are optional and add a lot to the overall antioxidant levels, for the amount of each power to optimise the taste see pictures...)

Frozen ripe Mango

Frozen Blueberries, raspberries and some pinnaple core.

2 spoons of ground Flax seeds.

Tiny bit of Ginger Powder

Tiny bit of Cloves Powder

Full Spoon of Cinnamon (make sure it is the good Ceylon type NOT Cassia which is found in most stores)

Good spoon of Amla Powder (a very healthy indian Gooseberry)

Berryguard powder which includes aronia, rosehip and Hibiscus

Frozen Fresh Spinach

Some oat milk (can be water or any vegan milk alternative)

1 Ripe Banana

Let it all defrost for a while or not if you want a more ice cream like smoothie.

Mix it up and it's ready to go. Don't drink it but eat it slowly with a spoon or a straw. If you eat this every day you should be careful with your teeth since it's quite acid. Don't brush them afterwards but flush them clean with some water.

I eat this myself at least 4 times every week, is has extreme levels of antioxidants, is very easy / fast / cheap to make and tastes so amazing that even my sister's kids love it. All ingredients and powders can be played around with based on what you have available and personal preference. I'm adding some spinach because because it cant' be seen or tasted and adds something I otherwise don't eat enough off.

This is a variant of a recipe I found on youtube from nutritionfacts which is one of my favorite scources for info and scientific studies on food and health. I linked it below... ( It is only around 2 minutes long and I highly recommend watching it! )

I've been using amla powder for a while now, too! I need to try some ground cloves, though. I don't know that I've ever put that spice in a smoothie but it's a wonderful flavor! Excellent combination!

Love how rich this is and all the spices and little powder additions!
