Gardening Report for Fruits And Veggies Monday
Hello dear foodies, I'm back with another gardening report for Fruits And Veggies Monday hosted each week by our lovely friend Lena, @lenasveganliving.
I have no other choice than to start with my favourite, the "bullock heart" tomato, my favourite.
The season is going to end soon, so I have to make the most of it till I can because during the winter I won't be eating tomatoes, that's for sure.
Paprika, these still need another week or two to ripen.
Sweet corn 🌽, one of my favourite. I'm going to taste it tonight!
There's nothing better than a cold honeydew melon in a hot summer evening 😉.
The princess of grapes, my favourite. This is called Zala Gyöngye, it's sweet like Muscat. There's still a month or two till I can make jam.
Looks so good, it's hard to wait.
Another type of paprika, dark and delicious.
Celery, for soup and sauce.
Cucumbers 🥒 come second on my favorite veggies list. I use a lot to hydrate my skin and it works perfectly.
These beans are left to dry so we can have seeds next year and dry beans for the winter.
Hot paprika for those who like hot, spicy food. Not me!
Last week I prepared my first cabbage soup using a cabbage from the garden. It was delicious!

Thank you for the nice comment! I'm trying to make the most of it till I can, this hot weather is going to put an end to the gardening season.
We've had so much rain here, so I know that has hindered a lot of the local farmers! I hope you have at least had a good harvest so you have plenty to store up for the winter!
Well, what was in the ground is affected by the rain, like onions and garlic. But the rest is good, can't complain.
Ok, I want tomatoes, peppers, paprika, melon... u know what? Just send one 4 of each! ha!

Your garden would make anyone envious. Making food or meals from fruits and veggies that we grow ourselves just can not be beat. Grocery stores always fail in comparison to garden fresh. Thank you for sharing your lavish garden with us.
