Ithaqa Fundition Update 39 Ithaqa RPG Winners + Advice Needed
And now we get to revisit the art from Issue 2! We're back in Theodore Wharton's office, as he discusses a new lucrative business venture with the bootlegger, Hugo!
So this week's drop in steem prices has been quite painful, and I'm kinda wondering if I should sell what we've raised now, or hold out for a return to at least 1.00? If I sold today we'd be a little under 75% of our fundraising goal, but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush and all that. Should I have been selling as it came in, all along?
I'm continuing my power down, and I'm willing to take it all the way to 0 if it means funding this comic, but in the meantime I could use some advice on what to do with the steem we've already raised.

Most importantly I got the green light from my editor on some very important changes, so I am about to tackle what I hope will be the final version of Issue 4...

In order to more accurately reflect how close we are to funding this issue, I'm going to start listing what the current value of my liquid steem wallet is. Just putting this here for full transparency.
We have raised 744 USD worth of steem, which means we are 74.4 +% of the way to our goal! Once we hit 1000 USD, it will guarantee that we release all of issue 1, for free to steemit! At 1,200 USD, I will be able pay my letterist Lucas as well. That price drop in steem was really painful...

I think you just need to factor in your personal timeline of when you absolutely want to release the new work being funded. I certainly believe in a turnaround in Steem value, but it may not be for some time yet. My approach would be to sell as little as possible to keep moving forward, but certainly not liquidate out of fear of even lower values to come.
As always, thanks for your input. I just really hope we get back to 1 dollar this month so I can give Theresa the green light!
Hindsight is always 20/20, especially in crypto. Eventually steem will rise again, most likely. I don't feel qualified to give you any solid advice! You do what you gotta do to see it to the end.
