We Are The Future! These Kids Learn To Swim Thanks To Steem 💕 [Event Video Inside]

There were lots of rainbows over the isle of Lanzarote today!
Today we started our @dreamsoftheocean charity event 2018. 14 kids will learn to swim in 14 swim sessions, accompanied by a team of professionals and empowered by the Steem community.
We were planning this for a long time, and today it's become reality.

Actions speak louder than words
We can make plans for the rest of our lives and imagine the world to become a better place, but the only way to change it, is to change it.
There's nothing more contagious than a kid's smile, and that's why we can't get enough of these type of projects.
Today our 14 future swimmers had their first water contact and did pretty well. Every group needs their alpha beings that push the rest to their limits, and so it happened today.

Our future swimmers will be able to enjoy a full month of action now.
Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday - hence, three times per week - they'll be accompanied to the aqua&sport center Lanzarote where they enjoy a full summer's swim training.
Obviously, day one was quite emotional for the whole team! We wouldn't lie if we told you that some of us were shedding a tear watching them having so much fun in the water.
