Thank you very much for the 50sp delegation. That is a big help.

I'm curious what the status is now @pifc.
Hopefully, you received back even more than the lost 1000 :)

Currently we have received 950 sp in new delegations from the amazing community!

15.4 Steem has also been sent in.

And this will be our highest payout ever largely due to a few witness's that stepped up and gave some nice support. All of the smaller voted really added up on this one too and they really helped.

Overall it's been an amazing show of support.

Currently have an order out for about 100sp on MinnowBooster for the 5 steem that was first sent. So far no takers, but feel the ROI was good enough that it might fill.

Someone else put in an order for 1000sp on Minnowbooster for 8 weeks, but no takers on this either. Think the ROI is a little low so might not happen, but fingers crossed.

Without question we will end up stronger then before. Wondering if it makes sense to run a post once a month where all funds are used for leasing SP. One that we are purely looking for Upvotes and if people want to do something else that is great. Just don't want to be a burden to the community either, but think that at a monthly fundraising we can keep adding new leases and get our vote up to a more useful/supportive level.

Thanks so much for your very informative reply!
950 is a start ... you are doing so much for the community and it should be much more than 950. As you might remember I was actively posting for the pay it forward community and knew from the very beginning it will a successful project! Actually, I would love to pick it up again because it was a lot of fun for me and MUCH work for the people behind that project.
If I only had more time ... but I still try to help/support this project.
Regarding the 100SP on minnowbooster: they should be fulfilled.
I'm thinking about something already ;) But I have no experience with it yet ... let me check - Marley might fulfill it.
It's a pity that the whales do not support the project. For them it's just a click - for you it's working hard and struggling with SP.

You will for sure get this project up where it belongs.

Note to myself:

  • check if @pifc is on autovote
  • check if Marley can fulfill the 100SP request.

STEEM ON and please don't upvote my comments but someone who really needs the support - save your VP for the project 😎

I do remember you being part of the curation contest and hope we see you back again. This week coming up we have a sponsor to give each entry a SBI share so it would be a good one to enter. Starts in about 10 hours.

Whales did help some. @fulltimegeek put his fulltimebots onto the post and that was a huge help. But you are right, there are many others who could easily change the face of this contest with a very minor contribution. Even a single weekly upvote from a few whales on the contest page would allow us to lease SP, power up some, and give much larger Bounties for those that enter. I feel that as time keeps moving along this contest gets more recognized and that helps us pull in added support. Hopefully one day we can be making an impact on the posts that get featured and help motivate more people to stay active on steemit.

You are absolutely correct that this is a lot of work. If I had to guess it runs me at least 20 hours a week running everything PIFC does, maybe more. Plus I have been paying for some of the delegations that PIFC has out of pocket to keep it running.

I'm very lucky to have great judges and discord helpers or this wouldn't even be possible. Then when in need the community steps up and shows how amazing they can be...keeps the motivation to help others strong.

I know you invested in keeping the project running. You gave already a lot. Money, time and passion.
We (psionic-tremors, dog-marley and me) also invest fiat money to get the SP we now have and are glad to give some back so that we all are getting better at the end.
We need to do this all together - but whom am I telling this ... the person who knows that best.
At least the whole family including the dog can support the pifc-project now :)
Good to hear there also some around like @fulltimegeek. There are not many like him.
Also, it's good to hear you have some people backing you up when needed.

I'll check if I can step in again. It was always so nice to read the astonished and positive reactions of the chosen newcomers. With some of them, I'm still in close contact.

It's great to hear that you made some connections from the contest. There are a few people who said they were about to give up on steemit until they found or were found by PIFC. Things like that keep me going no matter the cost or time it takes.

Thank for all of the support...even from the dog!

Marley fulfilled the 105SP for 13 weeks if I'm not wrong :)

Thank you very much.
