This is on a tree down the village where I live. I think it’s a sycamore but I have no idea what the fungus is. Either way it’s very cool. Maybe @yidneth will know?
This mushroom is called 'Driad's Saddle' or 'Pheasantback'. If you cut it, it will smell just like watermelon rind. This mushroom is edible. Fried with olive oil, butter and garlic it's delightful.
