The Term Funny Cars first came into use in Drag Racing where thinly disguised full on Dragsters had lightweight stretched Fibre Glass Saloon-ish bodies popped over them,
creating a whole new ,very quick Class , which added to the spectacle.
Here we go with some really Funny Car based Humour,

and possibly worst of all ?
What Well Off Parents will get for their Kids to keep them out of their Hair!

I don't get well-off parents funding their spoiled brats' demolition derby hobbies. My friend Ernie paid for his own car - couldn't afford a brake job, so he'd gear down and stick his foot out the driver's door. Now that's being responsible!
