Feathered Haka in the Fog - #CCC
I like the morale of New Zealand warriors and their dance hack, which is intended to frighten enemies.
This morning I watched a similar dance on the water. This happened in the morning fog, I photographed through the fog, and it was very difficult to achieve a special clarity of pictures.
The comic of the situation is that the Haka was filled with male ducks.
This is not the moment of takeoff. The drake rose above the water and showed its superiority over the other drakes.
Males in turn showed their strength.
I watch this lake for many days. Only one family of ducks lived here. There was only one drake. But today everything has changed. Five, or more drakes, today, boarded the water.
Some males were especially aggressive; they attacked other drakes. It was like a gladiator fight. I did not have time to change the focus, I hardly managed to follow the events. I wanted to bring the picture as close as possible.
As a result, some of them found the lady of the heart for themselves and left the battlefield, further, only losers who were late took part in the battles.
Here are forty five minutes from my morning.
