The change over for scouts happened a long time ago here in Canada. Girls have been part of scouts here for a long time. When my son was a scout he always had a couple girls as part of his scout group. The "boy" was removed a long time ago and now it is just Scouts Canada. Interestingly enough though there have been no efforts to open up the Girl Guides of Canada to boys. It seems that the fight for equality is sometimes a one-way street. Don't keep your fingers crossed for the new "Guides Canada".
