I've come back from the little football break to talk to you about movies for a bit again. This time it's one I saw the trailers of a while back but only managed to watch just now. A pure action comedy.
The Hitman's Bodyguard (dir. Patrick Hughes) is an american action comedy film and it tells the story of a bodyguard (played by Ryan Reynolds) who is hired to protect a hitman (Samuel L. Jackson) who has to testify at the International Criminal Court.
It is a good, action packed film with a somewhat easy but entertaining plot following a former-ish triple A rated executive protection agent being forced to look after a dangerous hitman in the flesh of the amazing Samuel L. Jackson.
The combination of both humorous performances (Reynold's and Jackson's) is absolutely amazing and hilarious. They're an incredible good combo, kinda like Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan in 'Cop Out'.
