So, let's see what I stated:
1. I am a natural redhead - TRUE
Yep, that is true. Because of my Venetian origins that kind of red is called 'Venetian red' - so not completely typical ginger - not much freckles, not burning in the sun [I am Greek after all...], not superwhite... Still original though - from both my mom's side [my grandpa was a total ginger - they used to talk to us in English in Corfu thinking we were tourists haha!] and my Dad's [ginger blond himself ;) ]
2. My real name is Penelope - TRUE
And a lot of people on the platform know that already ;) I go also by Penny or Loop -my high school nickname- and I can be found in all social media as Penny D. Photo - And no, I wouldn't hide it ...why??? I'm a photographer above all so I DO want people to know me !!!!
3. I got once a bronze metal at the National Karate Championship in Greece. - TRUE
So you know.... I KICK ASS :D :D :D
4. I hate Peppers - THAT'S THE LIE !!!!!!
Who hates peppers ???? I LOVE peppers !! Green, Red, Yellow AND Orange! Not that fan of spicy - 'cause I can't bare spicy - but I'm always trying ahahaha !!!!

Yeah, I know, it sounds such a SILLY fear - but it's true. Same goes for A/C units :P

Sorry @traciyork haha !!! I DO!!! I mean, I still love trains, and road trips and boats - because my mom doesn't fly and we would always travel in other ways- but a transatlantic flight full of movies and snacks is MY BEST :D
7. I've visited 22 countries in the World so far. - TRUE
And since I travel A LOT I hope this number will go up really fast!
My latest trip was in London, but that was my seventh time visiting
8. The 33 on my nickname is my age. - TRUE
YES - I am THAT stupid. To be fair at the time no one really knew how stuff worked so when I joined everything happened fast and thought I would be able to change my name later... Either way @meanmommy account is also mine now so crisis averted! Ahaha! Also, 33 was the age Jesus died - and at that age I got my Master's degree in Theology so I consider it very karma related so I guess it's ok ;)))
9. I took my first picture when I was 4 years old. - TRUE

I am not ... I don't really like mountains... But LOVE makes you climb up to 1km altitude... not easily... but I wouldn't trade that experience ever.... I'm glad I made it !!!

Yay! I really loved this challenge. Such a subtle lie. Hidden amongst all the outrageous real life experiences - doing this challenge reminded me of some crazy hints I’ve done. 💓

I make stuff peppers at least once or twice a month for my wife and I.

I actually make a big tray, with mostly stuffed peppers, and a big pair of Stuffed Tomatoes for me. My Yia Yia's recipe. She's from Altasata, (next to Chios, the island in northern Asia Minor).
Bit of cinnamon in the sauce recipe.
My dad's side are from Filiatra, Sparta, and Pireas.

On my mom's side, I can trace it back to about 1790, on Dad's side, to about mid 1600's. Although, Dad has a Dionysus in the family, every other generation from the island that The Dionysus comes from, so, not to brag, but pretty sure, I am descended from Mt. Olympus.
Maybe a slave or servant somewhere way back slipped into his mistress's bedroom when master was out conquering some city-state, but near as I can tell, completely Greek.
My girls are half Greek (me), 1/4 swede and 1/4 english (my wife), but they have a Yiayia, and a Papou, too.

I'm also from Minor Asia [Kios - now Gemlek], Constantinople and Cappadokia [dad's side] and baaaack in time, Venice ['cause grandpa -mom's side- from Corfu ;) ]
Most people call Altatsata, Turkey, but, my Yia yia would kill me, if I did. She was Greek, and the Turks kicked her and family out. They lived with cousins in Chios across the Straights, and then, to here, in America.
I hike a lot but I fear heights I could not sit there! ❤️ Looking forward visiting Norway one day.
I didn't - only he did ... it was waaaay too hardcore for me to do.... And that 'hiking' [more trekking than hiking, at some point you could only use ropes...and in the rain......], especially for a total newbie who doesn't like mountains, hike or camp like EVER, was very hard ... [and the heights....it wasn't only at the end - you had to pass through stuff all the time...] But, in the end of the day, I don't regret it - it was a lifetime experience for me [not for him, but oh well :P ] And Oslo is amazing by the way- we saw it too :)
I want to travel North to see the Northern Lights one day. Norway, Finland. I live close to the Pyrenees but I am afraid of heights and sometimes a safe lane with an overwhelming view makes me dizzy. My partner would ve asking me to take the pic and I would be panicking for his safety. Still I try challenges (safe montains) and have then felt accomplished.
Haven't seen those yet either :/ We didn't go that much up North...but I hope we will before we leave Copenhagen....
Same here with pictures and safety....the pictures of his I took...with both our cameras and phones, I wonder how they came out ok...my hands were trembling non-stop...!!!I like the sound of 'safe mountains' though !!!
