Somehow, even after leaving home, my mother manages to irritate me. At least it's kinda funny over text, but in real life you can see her being deadly serious.

my dad sends me random stuffs on whatsapp and i dont even read 'em
watching parents with technology is painfully funny. it's bad enough they cant be direct in real life in terms of what they want from you
now they are being forced to do it through a medium that is quite frankly designed for the weird and anti-social.
Yeah, I get them sending lecture texts every now and then because for some reason they see me as some kind of failure even though I've got myself into a top university.
Like if you treat someone like a failure all the time, they will eventually become a failure.
I tend to just laugh texts like this off.
