You know those indoor arcade places for toddlers...

I guess I hadn't seen this sort of thing since I've had my parent eyes on?

We spent our weekend with our cousins, their little one was having a birthday!!! We had lots of fun and we're greatfull for having been invited. The kids hung out Saturday afternoon, tired themselves out running about their house, it was all very cute!

And Sunday we were all meeting at one of those arcade places for toddlers. You know the type of place that has all sorts of electronic games you see at carnival fairs for the little ones. It's all about the tickets you can collect. The more tickets you collect the bigger the prize you can chose... but 250 tickets won't get you anything much better than a crappy plastic yoyo or a couple spining tops that will break the first time it falls off a table!

That's not what bother me though, you get what you pay for after all. And it is pretty cheap to play.

No one really mingled, no one really hung out Sunday, it was a race to get as many tickets as possible... it's too bad for the kids really, especially at 4 year olds, their imagination and a little space to romp around is all they need to have fun.

It was fun but these arcades for wee ones like that, have a bit of an indoctrination center for greed kind of vibe! Teach 'em young, I guess... the more get caught up in this gambling mind set, the less of 'em will rise up!
