Microtransactions disappeared from Middle-earth: Shadow of War

Middle-earth: Shadow of War received a fresh update, which, among other things, removed from the game the ability to buy the currency "Gold" for real money.

Developers from Monolith first started talking about what they intend to deprive the game of microtransactions, about a month ago. Finally, the time has come for this, and the game is now free from spending real money on the legendary orcs.

However, military chests with orcs are still available, but you can no longer buy them for real money. And on July 17, the in-game store will disappear from the game, which will finally remove the opportunity to buy and spend "Gold".

Until July 17, you can still earn Gold for completing in-game tasks, but after that date all microtransactions will disappear without a trace.
