Pudge

Pudge, after tons of meta changes, has finally for once has a really strong early game. He never was a strong hero in the early game, but things started to change as Pudge’s hook range was upgraded in the lower levels of the skill. With the buffs of strength heroes, he is also way tankier than he was a few patches ago.

I’ve found that pudge is really strong on a dual offlane if their safelane isn’t running a strong trilane. I’d use his hook as a harassing skill, just landing them will do heavy damage on the opposing heroes. Alot of people mistake pudge’s hook now for a tool to be used only to kill, but even without landing a hook that secures kills, the hook can be spammed easily to destroy an opponent’s lane.

In the midgame, with an urn and blademail, pudge can simply run down most of the heroes in the meta. With some levels of flesh heap, the hero stands as one of the strongest tanks in the game- along with centaur. The hero also stands as one of the stronger heroes against Tinker, just get a blink dagger + Blademail and Tinker would get destroyed in most games.
