Toy crane machine
It's called a claw crane game machine in other word is toy crane or skill crane machine. It is a type of arcade game. It is commonly found in video arcades, shopping malls, supermarkets and bowling alleys.
This machine consists of prizes usually toys like dolls, balls, capsulated toys and many more. Expensive prizes sometimes wrapped with a plastic bag so that it is harder to pick up.
How to play?
Insert a coin or token into the machine. You can manipulate the joystick that controls the claw for a quick time, usually for 30 seconds to one minute (depending on the machine). You can move the claw back, forth, and sideways. At the end of the play time (or earlier if you presses a trigger button on the joystick), the claw will descend and makes an attempt to grip. After gripping, the claw then moves over to an opening in the corner of the machine and releases its prizes. If you caught something, then the prize the claw is holding is dropped into the opening and dispensed out for collection.
