Google Trains AI DeepMind for Main Quake III

The use of AI in games is not new. But not many AI can play games in groups.

After the AI-made OpenI trained to play against professional DotA 2 teams, Google is now training its AI to play Quake III Arena in groups. The DeepMind AI is trained to play in Capture The Flag mode in groups both with other AIs and with humans.

Currently AI DeepMind has been practicing in 450 thousand games in order to understand how to work with other AIs as well as with humans.
