So TronKnights is running on Tron, lol. It is kind of obvious from the name right? TronKnights to me is an underrated game because it focuses first on giving players a good return on their investment before focusing on other fancy gameplay, new features, etc.

The most successful games that someone can build focus on giving investors back their intial investment and then incentivizing them to stick around to continue playing their game. TronKnights I believe does a good job of focusing on return on investment.

This is a very new game that was created and released so it is very far from what you would call a feature rich game. This game plays almost identical to the way that Tron Village plays, and Tron Village has had over 62 million Tron invested into their game so far, not a very small number in my opinion. Tron Village has been around since January 3rd of this year and by February 12th the contract had reached over 15 million Tron.

However, I believe that TronKnights will at least compete with Tron Village over the next few weeks. The balance of TronKnights is growing and was only about 1 million TRX a week and a half ago, it now has over 6.4 million TRX that has been invested. https://tronknights.com/game

I'll be the first to admit that this is a very basic and easy to play idle game because all you need to do is invest Tron into the contract in order to buy their in-game currency of gems, which you can then trade to recruit knights which will give you an ROI on your initial investment overtime, or you can simply trade the gems back to TRX. Once you recruit a knight it is yours and you cannot sell the knight or trade it back for Tron, but every knight will be earning gems for you on an hourly and daily basis.

The reason I like this game is because the actual way that you get to an ROI within the game seems to be well-though out. For example, I made a 6,000 TRX investment into the game when I bought one mage originally. This investment will get me 21,000 gems per day which is equal to 210 Tron/day when you convert it with their in-game currency of gems. 210 Tron a day may not seem like much, but at the end of 30 days I will have 6,300 Tron if I don't reinvest anything into the game.

However, this game incorporates the principle of compounding return on your investment because if I wait for 3 days accumulating gems with this knight, then this will allow me to use those gems to buy a Cleric within the game which would bring my total daily gem/Tron income to 225 Tron/day or 6,750 Tron at the end of the month.

In addition to the daily income of gems which can easily be exchanged for Tron. 1 Tron will always be equal to 100 gems. With an expected 30 day ROI in this game regardless of which knights you choose to recruit and the ability to compound your returns, this game seems built for a sustainable future for at least the next few months. The main way that this differs from Tron Village is that you are rewarded dividends for holding knights, which encourages players to continue to buy more knights to receive more dividends which will also help to increase your daily or monthly ROI.

This game also has some whale protection built into it because even if someone made a large investment let's say 500,000 TRX, they would only be able to earn 17,400 TRX/day without reinvesting. This would net them only 522,000 at the end of the month which would not be enough to drain the 6.1 million TRX balance.

This game is going great for me so far and is a far more profitable game for me than Drugwars ever was here on Steem. I got in really late to DrugWars, so I am now only making about .4 Steem per day. With TronKnights I will be approaching 20,000 Tron per month if the game continues to grow, I have also been reinvesting consistently for about a week and a half.

Please keep in mind that this is a risky investment. If the game runs out TRX in their contract balance, then you will not be able to get a return on your investment. However, I believe this game is well-thought out and encourages players to keep their Tron in the contract which will allow for a better daily or month payout in Tron. Seems like a relatively sustainable game with good returns in my opinion. The developer has also said that he plans on making improvements to the game over time.
