Open World Gaming: A Rising Field to jump in?

Are You a fan of Open World Games? What is the future of open world games? PUBG-Mobile-Gameplay.jpg

I’ve found a supreme difference in which open world games I like, vs. those I get bored of. My favourite open world games have an element of combat forced upon you, rather than you forcing the combat yourself. The Bethesda games, Farcry, the new Zelda, all have things hanging out, ready to attack you until you make a safe area. In Skyrim, you can have creatures and bandits leap from nowhere, Breath of the wild, everything wants you dead. Whereas in the Rockstar games, you can wander for hours and not have anyone attack you unless you decide to do it yourself, and then its just a ‘survive’ as long as you can. Personally, I like a bit of structure and excitement in the game world, not just a static world for me to mess with.
