Retro playing - F.E.A.R.

F.E.A.R. is a brilliant shooter with elements of horror. First Encounter Assault Recon is a squad of perfectly trained anti-terrorists with paranormal abilities. Often the unit struggles with all kinds of unusual phenomena. In the game we play the role of an anonymous hero. The only thing we know is that it is called "Point Man". I think that the games about the mysterious hero are quite interesting. Overall, the idea is great. We're going to reflect a building taken over by the villains. It turns out, however, that in the building there was a research on a girl... And its effects were quite deplorable. I won't tell you any more about the plot. Throughout the game we will be accompanied by the fear of the title. We will travel through dark corridors, cellars, ventilation shafts, surrounding buildings and more.

At all times, of course, we will be accompanied by the aforementioned girl, and the hallucinations she causes, in which we will have to not be outsmarted in order not to become a victim of a teenager. Apart from darkness and amazing atmosphere, FEAR is also distinguished by the effect of the Matrix movie. It's about slowing down time, which we can use in any situation to make it easier for our opponents to get through. It was an incredible performance. In general, we fight against terrorists here, also killing well-trained as our heroes. There will also happen a fight with a more armored version, sometimes so called Mech (robot for the infinite :3) and sometimes there will appear opponents with camouflage, and incredible agility, who are just waiting, for our moment inattention to then scare us and stab us in the back. The level of difficulty is very high. Game for demanding players.
If we are talking about the arsenal we are using, we have quite a lot of choice. Starting from the weapons well known to us, from the present times e.g. MP5, fragmentary grenades, proximity mines, ending with modern weapons e.g.: Arsenal, Arsenal: Particle cannon, laser rifle, three-lux rocket launcher (a bit like the one from Unreal :D) The audio-visual setting is fantastic. Even today the graphics seem decent. So think what must have been the impression of a player who played the title 8 years ago, when he was just born? In addition, the graphics engine offers us an accurate physics of the world, and something that in a few FPSs appeared - the ability to see the shadow of the hero, his legs, etc... The sound is at the same level. Amazing background noises, gunshots, EXPOSSIONS, and so on. There were also some secrets that increase our vitality or reflexes (slow down the pace). To sum up, FEAR is an obligatory game for every fan of horror movies or good shooters.

What a memorable image!

Looks similar to the toilets where I live except what's 'red' in your image is (various shades of) brown here.
