Hey there! Glad to see your back to grab another tip to improve your PUBG Mobile gameplay. If you haven't read my first post, go ahead and give it a quick read. If you did read it, I hope it's been useful to you so far.

Today's tip might seem very basic, but it's a game changer that many players overlook, especially those new to the game. It concerns customising your controls.

Although PUBG Mobile did the very best they could for the controls in the game, the fact that it's the downfall for most games within this genre on mobile, still rings true. The controls on your phone will never be as good as the old mouse and keyboard. But that doesn't mean it can't be tweaked to be as good as it gets for you.

Now I'll share my layout with you, but it might not work for you as we all have our own preferences. The idea is to play around and find what feels natural to you. I was pretty satisfied with the placement of just about everything and only made a few minor tweaks. I have however seen instances where nearly the entire layout was re-arranged.

As you can see I've enlarged the Fire button on the left quite a bit. I find it more natural for me to place it there and easier to tap due to the large size. In contrast, I made the one on the right very tiny, as I rarely run and gun and the smaller size means less accidental firing which gives away your position. PUBG Mobile gives you full control to move all of the buttons around and scale them to different sizes. You probably noticed that when you saw that I also moved my mini-map over to the left and made it slightly smaller. I prefer to have it there as I can tap it with my off hand, whilst still aiming with the right.

This was my preferred layout until I recently got a mobile trigger which attaches to the edge of the phone.

This has been very useful and feels much better than using the thumb to fire. I only had to move my trigger button up towards the top-right, disable the large left Fire button, and I was all set.

Of course this is not a must-have and you can do perfectly fine without it if you play around with your control layouts. Be sure to test them out in the Training area before you jump into an actual game.

Well, enough rambling on my part. Go forth, customize those controls, and dominate the competition!
