Black Desert Online - Coming to Xbox One Feb 14, 2019

BDO is the latest MMORPG breaking out of the PC only realm with a console release planned for March 2019

Why are most sports games on console only and so many MMORPGs PC only, who knows. Lately there has been more and more crossover between the two worlds and today Black Desert Online is the latest one to bridge the gap. Now through Feb 17 you can test it out for yourself on Xbox as a part of the open beta.

The list of pros and cons for most major MMORPGs is fairly predictable these days. People seem to like open world exploration and dislike micro-transactions. Optional PvP is good, forced questing with uninspired plots (and of course fetch-x quests) to unlock the best rewards are bad. This goes for BDO as well, but if you've never tried it out before there is no time like the present to see why this game have been around as long as it has. A large class system, highly customizable characters/outfits, a wide array of mounts, and of course solid combat have keep fans coming back year after year. And just to reiterate, BDO has one of the most detailed character customizations of any game that I've ever seen. It's astounding.

While there is a large F2P base for the game, there are several layers of pre-order for Xbox from $29.99 for a basic package all the way up to founders packs at $99.99. Find a package that's right for you and check it out, you can't go wrong!
