Updates about elite dungeon #3, The Shadow Reef, and the Eldrich Crossbow.

Just off of the east coast of Daemonheim lies the entrance to the final elite dungeon in the trilogy. The final boss, The Ambassador has been long awaited since it was first announced to be one of the toughest solo bosses during Runefest 2018. The ambassador will drop the Eldrich Crossbow in 3 parts which must be combined to make the legendary tier-92 two-handed weapon.

The crossbow was revealed to have a special attack during todays livestream which will be called Split Soul. Split soul works by turning your soul split prayer into a damage dealing attack by doubling the amount you would have been healed and turning it into damage that your target will receive. While the special attack is in effect (15-20 seconds) you will not be able to benefit from your usual healing from soul split since it will be corrupted into dealing damage instead, but that won't stop anyone from using it. It was also noted that this special attack will work with death swiftness and other damage boosting effects, so it looks like range will finally get it's own version of berserk, albeit it in the form of a special attack. This can be more useful overall since you won't receive additional damage like you would from berserk, but you won't be able to heal back with soul split, so it is a bit of a trade off.
