Is day 5 and the knock-Out stage has just begun, now teams will face-off in Bo5 matches (first to win 3 games crowns victorious) and the winners will join the Group stage and begin the Main stage of the tournament, today C9 clashed with GMB and EDG fought DFM, let's see how it went

GAME 1

This one promised to be a flashy game from the start and it began delivering when C9 Licorice traded a kill 2v1 in the top lane against GMB's top laner and jungler, but bad decisions and horrible initiations gave the game away in favor of C9 (Yeah that towerdive in mid against Ryze was stupid, guys)

GAME 2

This game was lost for C9 in the Draft, they picked a comp full of assassins and just one tank with reliable initiation, meanwhile in the other GMB grabbed Urgot, Tahm Kench and Poppy who made the classic wall+smash combo with GMB Kira's Anivia (amazing plays guys)

GAME 3

This one was different from the beginning, C9 subbed C9 Blabber and joining the squad was C9 Svenskaren, they drafted to win, that looked like a solo q everyone on a carry and what do you know it worked, GMB couldn't counter the speed and power of the jungle change, it was a rampage

GAME 4

Here C9 tried to repeat the same draft but with Singed banned they took an awkward (to say the least) Jarvan pick, and it looked like it was working but GMB coordination upon macro objectives took away all opportunities from C9 and tied the series 2-2 (QUEUE THE SILVER SCRAPES GUYS!!!)

GAME 5

The decisive game 5 came and the teams started to give it all from the beginning, it was back and forth for both teams as objectives and kills where traded around the map, but a couple of initiations from C9 Zeyzal ( and I what level of plays, that was MASSIVE) led the way to a free Baron and a bunch of turrets and gold, in the end, the difference was too much to handle by the side of GMB and C9 took the win qualifying to the Group stage

2ND MATCH

GAME 1

Game 1 was a massacre for DFM, EDG dominated them in every aspect, we hoped to see DFM Ceros's pocket pick Heimerdinger in action but it was totally outclassed by EDG Scout's Irelia, in the end DFM just picked a tower and 2 kills for themselves

GAME 2

EDG took this game more seriously, explosive and bloody from the beginning, DFM tried to answer with a cheeky Baron play but EDG Scout and EDG ClearLove sabotage their plans killing DFM's jungler and stealing the Baron, and once again we got our hopes down for a good Heimerdinger play from DFM Ceros

GAME 3

But it happened again, DFM Ceros picked Heimerdinger again (you're on your own now dude), but to be honest this looked so much better for DFM but in the end and immaculate game from EDG's sub jungler EDG Haro on Lee Sin (glorious plays, that Lee Sin was mad) lead the way to the game 3 win making EDG the second team qualifying to the Groups stage, but huge props to DFM making it this far, is the first time for a Japanese team to make it

In the end the better team advanced, it was a bloody a fun day 5 (what we all expected from *Bo5), but we have another day of Knock-Out stage left and we will see who will advance between INF, G2, GRX and SUP
