What I had to do to party up with new people

My konami code

A lot of gamers have over 500 titles in their Steam library, so asking them to play something with you invokes a challenge on it's own: what should we play? Discussing each option until we find something we're both interested in is not something to look forward. That's exhausting.

But I still want to play with them, so I've had an idea: going over all of the fifty games we have in common, make the shortest list possible including which of them I want to play, then show it to them. Suprisingly, that was enough to get a new duo for Renegade Ops! We're on mission five, it's a good game.

Sure, it helps a lot that I'm already so familiar with most games, but I can recycle that list again and again each time we want to do more co-op. From now on, getting my game on with them is that much simpler every time.
