Iconic sounds and music in video games
Every video player, whether old or new generation, has remembered an emblematic sound or music, usually from a favorite video game, these sounds have been immortalized by the players themselves over time, turning them into references over the years.
Surely you have ever placed a sound of a video game on your cell phone, immediately when you sound you think of all those moments, these can be frustrating, fun or even satisfying to finish a very complicated challenge.
We will start with a classic, Super Mario Bros, this song composed by Kōji Kondō has even appeared in current games of this beautiful saga, simply hearing it is to move to the past.
Resident Evil is one of the most famous sagas of all time, although it's a suspense and terror game (the ancients) has a song that can calm your nerves and make you feel safe, it's about the save point.
It's impossible not to speak The Legend of Zelda, an infinity of sounds can make you remember this excellent game, but I consider the most legendary the moment when you open the chests, with time have formed different tonalities, but the essence is still present.
Metal Gear is undoubtedly a gem within the world of gaming, since its first appearance on MSX has given much to talk about. Within its long catalog of sounds there is one that is essential, this is when the enemy detects us and begins the chase.
But not only can we orient the sounds to the games, the consoles also have their protagonism in this aspect, of sure in this instant some happens to you by the mind, we are going to see if you remember some of these classics.
The PlayStation or also known as PSX left one of the most emblematic sounds of all time, when we turn on the console and leaves the Sony logo along with the console logo to load the game.
But the PlayStation 2 is not left behind, it continued with another sound that many will remember, really listening to it again is like being in front of the TV waiting for it to load our favorite game.
Finally, we have the Sega consoles, specifically the Genesis, when starting most of their games you would hear the typical sound that gave the beginning of our adventure, personally reminds me a lot of Sonic.
Although time does not stop and video games are in constant evolution, we will always remember those songs or sounds that filled us with happiness or frustration playing our favorite games, they will always be in our minds and it will be enough to listen to them for a second to travel to the past, in this way to feel again that unique experience of the gamer world.
