The First Trailer for the Ni no Kuni Movie is Released

Earlier today, a brand new trailer for the upcoming Ni no Kuni theatrical movie I previously talked about was released, fully showing off it's vibrant art style and flare. As mentioned before, Ni No Kuni is a series by Level-5 which features magic and yōkai and incredible steam-punk styled monsters. Akihiro Hino (Current CEO of Level-5, with a resume of Professor Layton, Yo-kai Watch and the Inazuma Eleven series) is taking the part of producer and script drafter while Yoshiyuki Momose is acting as director along with the help of composer, Joe Hisaishi (best known for his work on Spirited Away). Warner Bros. Studios are still working on the film with the full project being animated by OLM, Inc. (formerly known as Oriental Light and Magic Inc.) best known for animating series like Pokémon, Inazuma Eleven, Beyblade and Yo-kai Watch.

An avalanche of voice actors have since been announced with Kento Yamazaki, Mamoru Miyano, Kenjiro Tsuda, Makoto Sakamoto, Yuuki Sakai and Koichi Yamadera all joining the cast. No extra details other than the previously given brief summary of the story has been revealed, so for now, all we have to go on is three friends making hard decisions to save their land and a new one - rather vague, but I'm sure as time goes on, we will get a more in depth storyline - and If not, I'm more than happy to jump into the movie knowing very little. All current details could change without notice at any time, or there might be slight miss-translations on my part as I'm translating everything from Japanese. Ni No Kuni: The Movie is due to be released in (the Japanese) Summer of 2019 with no current announcement of an English Translation revealed yet, but it's safe to say we'll eventually get a release in full English, or at the very least - subtitled.
