Everything begins in the time of ancient Egypt when atem (Yami) was a prince and the magician (Heishin) attacked the palace revealed against his monarchs to take the throne by force along with the ancestor of Kaiba (Seto) both decide to abduct the prince and snatch the key of absolute power (The Millennium puzzle) his loyal servant (simon muran) asks him to escape with the Millennium puzzle, then heishin and seto try to stop him and challenge the prince atem to a duel of shadows which he loses, before delivering the puzzle to heishin atem decide to break it opening a dimension within the millenary items and revealing his future.

After this, we appear in the future reincarnated in Yugi Muto the beginning of the world tournament of dueling monsters where we will meet faces from the past, friends and known enemies of anime and manga this is one of my favorite parts.

dueling with each and every one of the best in the world regional and intercontinental champions and the current world champion (Kaiba) the mission is to advance the tournament and retrieve each article of the millennium in present, return to the past and able to fix everything we leave, stop heishin and his legion of evil wizards and recover the throne of Egypt.

each of these events helps us to remember more our past as prince and future Pharaoh, beginning we must continue to solve the mysteries of the past of Atem (Yami) and face the high magicians led by heishin, beat them each and every one of them in its different fields (UMI, FOREST, DESERT, MOUNTAIN, SOGEN).

to continue advancing on our journey and recover the millennium items from heishin, each high magician represents a different item except the puzzle and the scepter of the millennium. It is important to note that this task is not easy because, in order to reach each one of them, we must first defeat their disciples and face the final duel.

at the end of this challenge, we go into the catacombs where we are faced with difficult opponents like Seto(2 & 3) in my personal opinion seto is the hardest opponent in the whole game simply for having the ultimate card (blue-eyed white dragon definitive)x3

Most poweful card in game

After defeating seto, we have our duel with heishin, however, something worse would be about to happen.

being in the forbidden ruins of the palace with the millenary items awakens a malevolent deity called (Darknite / Nitemare) we must challenge him to a duel defeating him finally we sent him back to the shadows and saving Egypt.

this title was created during the first seasons of manga and anime and only the rules of the first season were implemented, there are no restrictions to invoke the strongest monsters, it´s not necessary to use the fusion card (polymerization), the rules for this moment only allow us to use only one card per turn 8000Lp mark of life points, and only apply the ritual cards to invoke certain monsters however if we have luck we can get them also use them without any kind of restriction.

all the cards of the game are considered normal monsters without any special effect, only the atk and def are important, equip cards are important too in this game it´s an indispensable tool to be able to defeat cards like the B. dragon meteor, Gate guardian or the B. Skull Dragon Just mentioning the strongest ones

another important feature is that each card has a total of 2 symbolic stars sign that when invoking the monster we must select 1 for our benefit, these, in order to gain a power bonus of 500 atk and defense in total are 10 symbols represented as planets, in total the game has 722 cards between (Monsters, Magic, Trap, Ritual). a small example of stars sign below.

The game has different options that allow us to exchange cards with our friends from (Memory card) in Trade inserting both memories and enabled the lists with the arsenal of cards that we have to exchange, Free duel mode having many duels with characters that we have previously defeated in the story mode, this mode is very useful because we can get good cards like Dark Magician and red eyes B Dragon, also in password mode we can buy cards with duel stars accessing secret codes, these codes can be found finishing the game or from original card pack.

This game is one of my favorite of the franchise, it was a lot excited to play with friends every day it brings back good memories I am still a fan of the premiere of the anime in Nickelodeon, I did not miss any episode this was so addictive I can remember it was a little frustrating at the beginning by the level of difficulty that has starting we have extremely weak cards and if we do not know the mechanics of the game it can be very annoying however this does not discourage us to continue trying and get our favorite cards as the blue-eyed white dragon or the dark magician, is an excellent game.

• to make the game a bit easier at the beginning and get useful cards is necessary to have 2 memory cards to exchange magic and equip cards in both games so that we have our main game and support this with the help of the option "Trade"

• always keep in mind use the memory card before or after each duel emphasizing that if we lose only one duel we must start from 0 story mode.

• Play hard on "FREE DDUEL" to get better cards preferably type monsters (dragon, thunder, water, rock) to fusion the electric dragon of 2800 of atk is the strongest fusion within our reach, this fusion can be done in the following way:
  Dragon>aqua>thunder
  Dragon>rock>thunder
  Dragon>Plant>Thunder
  Dragon> Thunder > Thunder

• the top equip card called megamorph can be obtained defeating heishin but its really hard to get in that way, there is another way to have it, using 2 magic card called Dian Keto this particular card we can get it defeating tea the only condition for this is we have to win by limit cards and we can get it.

• There is a special opponent that usually give us very strong cards including red eyes black dragon and dark magician Gaia among others we can fight him multiple times in free duel mode. his name is meadow mage
