Learn what I'm talking about: the kind of games you want to play over and over again for no reason, convincing, like you're too stupid to play.

What makes the game addicted?

Communities

For video games, online communities that are RPGs such as World of Warcraft or other games in which your own personality is designed and controlled either by recounting their actions or through a decision-making system The types of games provide players with communities of personal value, and they give everyone the opportunity to design new identities and engage in activities in a fantasy world that does not hold you accountable for your actions as the real world.

Selflessness or arrogance

Video games feed selfishness and love of self. When you play the game of Monopoly and invade the territory of the other player and acquire his property, it makes you feel satisfied and enthusiastic, and those properties are tangible rewards to show you how successful in the game.

Successful games are a powerful system of drudgery, rewards and self-love for the player so that the player may continue to play those games to feel that sense, and this is remarkable for children who are not appreciated and rewarded outside the world of the game may see them go back to play more because the world of the game is That is the world that gives children that kind of satisfaction.

Skills

Successful or addictive games have intriguing features. Many games create stages of complexity. Players acquire skills that are unprecedented and must be applied in other situations in the game. When learning these skills, the game becomes more complex, making the player desperate to accomplish More complex and difficult challenges, and be "adhering" to the game as a result.

Maria Clavey, a professor of computer science, gave some thoughts on this and said that "video games in particular offer some real opportunities for solving puzzles, strategies and critical thinking."

What happens in your brain?

Video games are known to be effective tools for training our minds, but physical exercises.

The neuroscientist at the University of California, San Francisco (Michael Merzink) says there is growing evidence that playing video games intensively results in a marked improvement in cognitive functions.

Summarizing scientists and compiling studies looking at how to shape mind and behavior through video games, ongoing research to date has indicated that video games have the ability to change regions of the brain responsible for attention and spatial vision skills (responsible for understanding distance, depth and spatial navigation) and make those skills More efficient.

Several researchers believe that there is a physiological component of addictive games. In a study published in 2005, the levels of dopamine (the hormone responsible for happiness and addiction) multiplied when people played video games. I think the simple recipe to make the game addicted is to be tough, fun and rewarding, and any game can give a good feeling for a short period of time, but the games that are called addiction in bold may be different for everyone, which you play routinely and still give it Feel good whenever you come back.

In conclusion, the word addiction does not always have a negative meaning, as long as that addiction does not negatively affect the body or the environment or other, it is a positive addiction, such as addiction to go to the club or reading addiction.

We go to the club to strengthen our muscles, read to enhance understanding and conservation, video games have all of it at once. When we played tennis on the Wii we woke up the next day and felt the muscles in our hands, as well as when we go to the club and grow our hands for the first time.

When we play Assassin's Creed and Uncharted, we tell the history and lost treasures of our parents and friends as if we were writers and intellectuals so much that university professors might wonder where we came from, while we're just "video game addicts."

Do you agree with me? What is your definition of video game addicts?
