TOCA Championship long race 2 Silverstone
Ok so back to some retro gaming this is round 2 of TOCA Touring Cars "Long Championship" at Silverstone. I recorded the first round and i would have loved to open with that however OBS decided to have a crack and messed up the recording so.... i will do the 1st race again after i completer the championship, but im hella fighting my OCD right now posting this up, lolz.
Back back to the subject at hand though, in the race there are some thrills and spills as i make my way through 20 laps of the Silverstone circuit, some on my own and some due to dodging traffic as i lap opponents. The circuit is wet and that helps the slippery dippery action get under way and we all know TOCA spills are the best kind to experience.
It was a good run on this race and was quite a bit of fun after all was said and done. its a good 30 minutes of fast paced bumping and grinding action that kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. The cars can be twitchy and difficult to control at the best of times, if you have ever really pushed this class of vehicle on a track you know it pretty accurate.... and damn fun too ;)
Ah when the graphics for this first came out we thought we were in the future and now looking back of course it looks aged and clunky.
But thank you for the trip down memory lane haha. Although more of a Gran Turismo fan myself.
and this is with the graphics turned up and smoothed out too ;) it looked ageier and clunkier, lolz. but stay tuned cause im clocking the game and will be doing a write up on it eventually, once i get through the whole game again. but i tell ya what, it still holds up as a fun game to play....
If its was a driving game i was keen to play it, bottom line. so i have played some awesome racing games and some really bad racing games in my time. im planning on playing them all again ;) and the GT series is most definitely on the list as i rocked them games HARD, i just wanna be a better reviewer by the time i get to it so i can do it justice, therefore im going a handful of other games first.
