How many gamers missed the Ubisoft annual release format with its andal-and-open game series Assassin's Creed? Since the success of the second series and the two series that followed, Ubisoft's decision to force the battle-themed game between the Assassins against the Templars as an annual title did hurt the big name he was holding. The lack of innovation and gameplay that began to feel repetitive finally made them time to rest for extra time development. Back with the fantastic Assassin's Creed Origins, he seemed to restore a sense of optimism to see more of the same-quality AC series in the future. The question is of course one, does Origins success mean we will see Assassin's Creed back in the annual format?

The question was thrown at Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot. If it refers to the answer he offers, then it is certain that this annual release format will no longer be attached with the name Assassin's Creed. Guillemot mentioned that Ubisoft is currently still focusing on Assassin's Creed Origins. They plan to release some DLCs for him, though without further details. Guillemot believes that this DLC-DLC will make the fans end up amazed. He also mentions that Origins is one of the most successful Ubisoft Assassin's Creed series, with gameplay time data that is almost double the previous AC series.

With the success achieved by Origins, Guillemot reaffirmed his commitment to give developers time to perfect their concoction game. A policy that he called, has managed to give Ubisoft three cool game titles since August 2017 ago.

How about you? Are you a happy or disappointed gamer that Assassin's Creed is no longer released in the annual format?
