#PlantGang Piranha Plant Officially Released - Smash Ultimate Patch 2.0.0.
Piranha Plant has been released ahead of schedule for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch, #plantgang is trending on Twitter, and the world feels kind of right -- the World of Light at least.
Today, 1/29/2019 at 8pm ET Nintendo underwent maintenance on the game and players were booted out of all outline modes of play. The maintenance, which was originally thought to be just a patch update, with Piranha Plant being made available on January 31st, was instead a release of both!
Players have until January 31st at midnight to claim this exclusive bonus character(only available for players that preordered).
