I haven't heard much from Microsoft in the past year, whether that could mean they are either running out of ideas or are actually planning on a lot of big plans, now is the day to find out! Lets start the Microsoft conference!

Source

The conference starts with a trailer. At first, it seemed like a new game featuring lush green environments and soldiers walking among them, but then a familiar helmet shows up. It turns out it's a trailer for the newest Halo game. Halo Infinite has officially been announced. Phil Spencer Head of Xbox appear from the stage officially welcomes everyone to E3 2018. Phil thanks everyone who attended the conference and the millions watching at home. He then delivers the big whammy, 50 games, 18 exclusive Xbox titles and 15 world premiere. This might actually be a long day.

Ori And The Will of the Wisp

Source
The first game introduced is an Xbox exclusive, a very impressive looking platforming game featuring what looks like a wisp character and other woodland creatures traversing a serendipitous land and fighting other creatures along the way. The name of the game is revealed at the end of its trailer. Ori and the Will of the Wisp will be available on 2019.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Source
The next game feature is a game that has been surrounded by much speculation in the last few months, what everyone thought would be Bloodborne 2 continuing its gothic victorian era inspired aesthetic would turn out to be a Tokugawa era Japan samurai filled world, and It looks awesome. It might not be Bloodborne 2 like everyone expected, but it is still a FromSoftware Game. The gameplay features a samurai with what seemed to be a prosthetic arm built from rope and bones and it seems to have the ability to be a grapple of some sort. And thus the world is officially introduced to the newest addition in the Darksoul Saga, ladies and gentlemen please welcome Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, coming 2019.

Fallout 76

Source
Todd Howard shows up the Director of Bethesda Game Studios, which is a surprise to me because Bethesda will also be having their conference later that day. A fact he himself acknowledges a few moments later. Todd thanks Phil for inviting him over and officially announces that Fallout 4 is officially available on XBox One Game Pass today. But it turns out, that's not the big announcement. Todd talks about the elephant in the room... Fallout 76. He states that the story is a prequel to all the other fallout games and that it will be 4 times bigger than Fallout 4, the story also takes place in West Virginia. An official trailer was then shown, however, there is still no official release date.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit

Source
Another trailer is shown afterward and it's from the company that brought us Final Fantasy, SquareEnix. What game is it? Well, it seemed to star someone who suspiciously looks like Kevin McCallister (The main character from Home Alone popularize by Macaulay Culkin) and it turns out its set in the "Life is Strange" Universe. It would most likely be a point and click, puzzle adventure game, but none of the actual gameplay was featured. Good news is that the game will be available on 06/26/2019 and will be 100 percent free. The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit the first freebie and hopefully not the last of e3 2018.

CrackDown 3

Source
What looked like Mass Effect at first glance turns out to be Terry Crews screaming in my face, and it was awesome. Somebody give him his jam! What follows is gameplay footage narrated by Terry himself. You can jump off high story buildings, have weird psychic powers, a multitude of weapons and different vehicles. You will be battling different enemies from footsoldiers to mechs all set in a futuristic utopia. This game looks crazy and I'm glad it's here. Crackdown 3 is coming February 2019.

Nier: Automata Become As Gods Edition

Source
A short teaser was shown featuring the highly successful game complete with most of the released DLC.

Metro: Exodus

Source
We now go to another highly anticipated game. Metro: Exodus is coming and its trailer shows the series expanding beyond the underground tunnels and radiated cityscapes. The trailer showed some of the weaponry that players will be able to use in the game. It also featured some of the landscape we're going to explore. Weird flying monsters and some kind of cult also appear throughout the trailer, giving fans a taste of whats in store in the future.

Kingdom Hearts III

Source
This was something that literally came out of nowhere. For the first time ever since the conception of Kingdom Hearts, their franchise is now officially coming to XBox. A new trailer was shown, featuring and officially confirming that Frozen is going to be part of the game. The game shows Elsa, Anna, Olaf and the rest of the cast interacting with our titular hero Sora. It also featured more story elements in the world of tangled. It boasted new gameplay features including Ice base attacks, summons and many more. At the end of the trailer, we then cut to what looks like Riku one knee on the ground and King Mickey bound by shadows as Aqua Appears and tells him," you're too late." No Aqua Its never too late because after all the waiting Kingdom Hearts III is finally going to be released 01/29/2019!

Sea of Thieves: Cursed Sails and Forsaken Shores.

Source
Next was a trailer for another Xbox Exclusive Sea of Thieves. I have never played this game and can't really say much about it, the announcement seemed to be a DLC of some sort. Sea of Thieves Cursed Sails will be release 07/2018 and Forsaken Shores on 09/2018.

Battlefield V

Source
Another teaser trailer was shown for Battlefield V story mode.

Forza Horizon 4

Source
Forza Horizon 4 has officially been announced for both the Xbox One and PC. I haven't played a car racer simulation game in years, but this might actually be the first time I've ever seen something like this. Forza Horizon 4 is a dynamic open world car simulation game in which seasons will change throughout the course of gameplay and dramatically affect how the world looks and how cars will drive. You will be playing with other players online almost similar to an MMO. Subscribers to Microsoft’s monthly Xbox Game Pass subscription will get access to Forza Horizon 4 when it launches on October 2nd.

Microsoft Studios Acquires a Bunch of Gaming Studios.

Source
Xbox head Phil Spencer enters the stage once again and delivers the big whammy of the conference. Not only did Microsoft announce a whole new game studio called The Initiative, Microsoft has acquired not one, not two but 4 gaming studios! First on the list is Undead Labs responsible for the state of decade games. Next is Playground Games responsible for the Forza series mentioned earlier and has always been a Microsoft collaborator, I guess they are now officially part of the family. Then we have Ninja Theory known for designing the game Hellblade among other things. And Finally Compulsion Games. The four studios will considerably add to Microsoft’s first-party game development. Speaking of Compulsion Games...

We Happy Few

Source
Compulsion games have been in development of a little game that could, and a story trailer has finally been shown. Not much is truly known about We Happy Few, beyond it looking like Bioshock Infinite. Fortunately for us, a release date has officially been announced. We Happy Few is coming 08/10/2018.

PUBG

Source
A new trailer for PUBG was shown, probably for some updates.

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition

Source
One of the most beloved games in the tales franchise is getting a revamp due to insistent public demand. Vesperia is coming back winter of this year.

The Division 2

Source
Ubisoft formally pulled back the curtain on The Division 2. The first trailer and gameplay footage was finally shown. The Division 2 takes place in Washington, DC, seven months after the deadly virus was released in New York City. Players assume the role of a division agent who must battle enemies and factions and reclaim the capital. Ubisoft first announced a sequel to The Division was in the works back in March. Given that the original was not the success it hoped it would be hopefully the sequel will pick up the slack. The division 2 will be released March 15, 2019.

Xbox Games Pass List Update

Source
Ashley Speicher Head of Engineering of Xbox Game pass enters the stage and gives us updates on the game pass including a faster system and more importantly new games including Outer Wilds, Afterparty, Kingdom Two Crowns, Fringe Wars, Below, Super Meat Boy and many more.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

Source
Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the third and supposedly final entry in Square Enix's Tomb Raider reboot, delivers a brand new trailer and the story seemed to take us in an apocalyptic event that Lara is trying to prevent. The game launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC 09/14/2018

Session

Source
A trailer for what seems to be a brand new Skateboarding Simulation Game called Session was shown.

Black Desert

Source
The Black Desert MMO is finally making its way to Xbox One. The beta begins in Fall 2018, with players available to register for the beta now. I Personally don't have much experience with MMO's but base on the trailer that was shown, It seems really beautiful and enjoyable.

Devil May Cry 5

Source
OMG DMC! Capcom did it! Devil May Cry 5 has officially been announced and its looking mother loving good! With the return of Hideaki Itsuno at the helm as the game's director, this will be the first mainline and number Devil May Cry game since Devil May Cry 4 since way back 2008. You'll play as Nero, who first appeared in Devil May Cry 4 the silver chromed hair guy with a demon for an arm except this time it's mechanical. Dante is still definitely involved in the game as he shows up at the end part of the trailer in a badass looking bike. No official release date was announce however it seems that the game will be available, early next year.

Cuphead in The Delicious Last Course

Source
Cuphead the run-and-gun hit from indie developer Studio MDHR is back with a new DLC package called “The Delicious Last Course.” The DLC includes new stages, new boss enemies and new weapons and goodies. A new female character was also introduced Ms. Chalice.

Tunic

Source
Another Xbox exclusive was also announced. A hack and slash cartoonish game seemed to be inspired by games like Legend of Zelda and many others. It features a fox brandishing a sword traversing the land and killing off enemies.

Jump Force

Source
Bandai-Namco throws itself into the mix with a game way out of left field. It's a new fighting game featuring characters from different Shonen Jump Series. We have Monkey D. Luffy of One Piece, Goku and Frieza from Dragon Ball, Naruto from, Err... Naruto and by the end of the trailer we also see the backs of Light and Ryuk from Death Note. Not much else is shown when it comes to gameplay or story, if there's going to be a story at all. I'd also like to note that this is not the first time these characters have come together to duke it out in a fighting game, with J-Stars Victory VS being the last crossover game back in 2014.

DyingLight 2

Source
Dying Light 2 is officially a thing, and it looks amazing. The game will feature a fluid parkour system in a world going through a zombie field apocalyptic world. The announcement included a trailer followed by a gameplay demo. Perhaps the best thing about this game is that the choices you make will have genuine consequences in the progression of your gameplay. Also Since its DylingLight, yes zombies are involved.

Battletoads

Source
Well, I guess there's a new Battletoads game. Not much to say about that.

Just Cause 4

Source
After a number of leaks, Just Cause 4 has officially been revealed at Xbox's E3 2018 Press Conference. The game features the return of series protagonist Rico Rodriguez, still fighting against the Black Hand Mercenaries. The series regular parachute, wingsuit, and grappling hook all make a return and shaping up to be the biggest the series had ever been. Also Hurricanes and or Tornados are somehow involved. Just Cause 4 is set to release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One December 4th, 2018.

Gears 5

Source
Another big announcement enters as Gears of War 5 is presented. While story details are a little on the down low, the new Gears will feature both split-screen and online co-op play and stunning visuals.

A New Xbox Console?

Source
Looks like Microsoft is the first one to step into the future as Phil Spencer unofficially announce the development of the next Xbox console. Spencer mentioned the company’s work on AI and on cloud technologies, as well as its recently bolstered studio presence. Whatever this console might actually turn out to be, we're gonna have to wait.

CyberPunk 2077

Source
Finally one of the most anticipated games from developer CD Projekt Red (creators of the Witcher series) finally takes a step in as the conference is hacked to show a brand new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. This is looking really legit and looks like everyone on attendance agrees.
This was one hell of a ride, Got to admit. I never expected this from Microsoft, hands off to them. This is how you do a conference, the focus is on the games and the players. A very exhausting experience but all in the right places, Microsoft might have actually won E3 2018. Well, its to early to decide, next stop we go directly to the Bethesda Conference and see if Elder Scrolls VI will finally be announced.

Thank you very much for reading and I hoped you enjoy.
