It is pretty laughable that he uses the forum that spawned out of former members of the NeoGAF forum as an example of good level-headed discussion. The very same forum that bans everyone and anyone who does not espouse the same opinions as they do.

What is the point of changing the lore of the show into something that it isn’t, at this point why even use the Witcher name if you are not going to stick to it? At this point, you can just make a random fantasy show without riding the coat tails of the Witcher franchise. Not to mention excluding white actresses from auditioning for Witcher for the part of Ciri is racist as shit, imagine the shit show if the roles where reversed?

And my prediction for the above will go something like this: The actress who plays Ciri will delete her social media accounts. News articles will claim that she left due to internet harassment and the “toxic” Witcher fandom.

Taking a well-established character and changing their color is not progress you absolute tool. Doing that is taking a step backwards not forwards, it creates more problems than it solves. The reality is discriminating against people based on skin color from getting a job is not how progress is made. That is the exact opposite of progress.

And I am going to do more than wince as these types of articles start flooding the internet. So my next prediction is going to be they will use the “Ghostbusters Strategy”, exploiting a popular franchise to push their own agenda’s and dismiss all criticism as racist, sexist and bigotry. The media and producers will attack the Witcher fans, the fans will retaliate by not supporting the show, the show will be a total flop in which case they will blame the toxic fans for the show’s failure and not because of their own shortcomings. I am calling it now!
