Crytpo Space Commander, Successful MEA launch!
Hello Everyone.
On May 10 At 6:00 PM PST Crypto Space Commander release its first playable mini mission. MEA
MEA is a resource mining event meant to give us commanders a chance to mine some resources that will be used in the full release of the game.
I am so excited to be playing this event. I have been keeping my ships on the move non-stop over the weekend and I am not the only one, within 2 hours of the MEA event launch there was a confirmed 200+ ship sent out into the MEA universe.

During launch there were a few minor bugs that were addressed with lighting speed by the Lucid Sight team.
All and all it was a widely successful launch and the game interface looks amazing.
The Interface
The game interface consists of a beautiful 2d scalable map showing the fight paths of ships on missions, the names of the systems, and distances of those systems from SOL the starting point.
Notice that some stars have wildly different distances even though the location on the map is very simular. This is because the map does not show the depth of the universe (Z axis). In the discord it has been said that this is not the map interface for the CSC main game, That map will be full 3d.
Moving on with the game interface on the map section there is also a HUD option that shows the selected ships current stats including the AIME (AI Mining Efficiency) percentage and mining rate. As well as some nice looking visual effects.
Apart from the map there are two more pieces to the MEA interface.
First is The MEA Ship hanger which show you all the current ships you have access to as well as the amount of time left on a ships specific mission.
Second is The Mea Ore Collected area which shows all the ore that you have collected but have not processed. Processed ores will be show in the main Hanger on the CSC website. You do not have to process the ores right after you collect them. I am saving up mine so that I can save some ETH on gas by processing them all at once.
The Game
The Crypto Space Commanders MEA mini game is pretty straight forward.
You select the ship you want to go on a mission and select a system for that ship to go to, this will initiate a ETH transaction (gas only) through meta mask.
The trip/action will vary in completion time based on ship speed and system distance.
There are a limited amount of resources in each system, these resources vary in rarity and quantity.
Usually the farther out the system is the rarer the resources obtained.. but this is not always the case.
I have seen the rarest resources within 12 light years of SOL... but the output quantity of that resource is pretty low..
One possible exception to that is Trilite the rarest resource.. I think so far I have not seen a system that gave more then 2 Trilite at once regardless of what ship you use.
Meaning the cheapest ship (the reaper) is the fastest way to mine the most valuable resource in CSC. Since it can make more trips than the harvester.
Once your ship returns to SOL you can make one of two choices.. you can choose to only collect the resources, which will move the resources from you ships cargo to your unprocessed materials or you can send it out again which will also automatically collect resources.
And that is pretty much it!
I want to give a huge thank you to the CSC development team, for making this mini game on top of getting ready for alpha and for giving us commanders a way to gather resources in preparation for the full launch of the game.

Like GalaxyOnFire))) Is it better?
I have never played Galaxy On Fire. but a quick google search.. I think some of the mechanics are there.. but CSC is a 2.5d game (not full 3d).. basically it is 3d but the point of view is top down.
There will be a lot of PVE and PVP elements in the game as well as a rich trading and economy systems.
I highly suggest checking out the discord and website.. maybe check out some of my previous posts on the project.
I wish my own post reach the climax level as yours one day but I think it will take months if not year
