In an interview with Gamingbolt's colleagues, Pachter thinks the release after 2022 is even most likely. Pachter refers to the time gap between Red Dead Redemption and the second part, which would be eight years if it comes out this year.

To him, the thought of GTA 6 being released before 2021 seems downright ridiculous. At its best, the game will be announced in 2020 and will be released in 2021, according to the analyst. What could further delay the release is the still huge success of GTA 5 and especially the multiplayer variant GTA Online.
